Solving Puzzles
I’ve always been drawn to solving puzzles and unraveling problems. When software was new, programs crashed regularly. Others were drawn to creating software, but I loved figuring out why it crashed more than creating it.
Family history contains a collection of enigmatic and contradictory stories, and uncovering the truth is challenging and exciting.
Curious About People and Cultures
After retiring, my husband and I began traveling extensively. I delved into the history and culture of many places worldwide and developed a more global perspective on events rather than just an American viewpoint. I also discovered my love for visiting parks with unique vegetation and diverse animals.
Health
The one aspect of my life I was never curious about was my health. My health issues were just annoyances to be ignored as much as possible. As my health became more of a problem, science and genealogy took great leaps forward in connecting family history and health.
