American Independence: The Spanish Secret
American Independence: The Spanish Secret is a children’s historical activity book celebrating the work of soldiers, spies, and politicians working to create American Independence in the late 1700s. The story is told from the point of view of the children of these patriots living in what is now New Mexico, Louisiana, Florida, Cuba, and Mexico.
Los Granderos y Damas de Galvez, a 501(c) charity dedicated to teaching children about Spain’s role in the American Revolution, has republished the book. The new cover is blue instead of red.

The Coloring Book History of Bernardo de Galvez Society is a coloring book version of photographs of the society’s first year of activities and events. It allows the children to relive the 4th of July Parade, the “battle of the marshmallows,” and all their other fun activities.
